I want my tattoos re-colored. Also, I'd like a new pair of boots-winter boots.

I hate that they cost almost as much as the original, just to get a re-color.

Me, too. But I get it. The ink probably got more expensive since I had the tattoo originally done and you're still paying for the service, aren't you?

Still, it does feel like you're paying double for the one thing.

Yeah, double the cost is what it feels like to me. You're right though, they're still doing the work. Even back then, I paid $100 to get my first one recolored, and some detail added. Well worth it though.

I forgot-at the moment I'm saving up for inks, so I can use my printer again. It's been unplugged for at least a year, but now I want to use it again.

I'm saving for Christmas present, paying back my credit card and the shopping trip at the end of November.

That is ambitious, and seems kind of overwhelming to me. How do you divide all that up? Put a certain amount aside for each?

Well, I prioritize. Paying my credit card comes first. But I try to put money on the side for the other two as well. I'm not great at it, mind.

But, when I get my paycheque, part of it goes to pay back my credit card and part of it is taken out in U.S. dollars.

That sounds like really good planning to me.

I am learning to divide things up, to every other month. I'm going to save some each month though.

I think having a basic plan is a good start, in general. Even if you don't always follow it to the letter.

Rent is my big expense. Well, I also have a dental appointment Friday, but insurance will reimburse most of that.

So you have to pay that up front, for the dentist? What if you don't have the money? I mean, I guess that you have the money saved for the appointment?

Rent, good thing to have saved.
